When you’re in the mood for a refreshing adult beverage, a Sweet Tea Spritzer might be just the thing to quench your thirst.
This post comes to you from Tradewinds Tea, and I was compensated to share a favorite recipe with you. All opinions are my own and I only share things I love with you!
If you love tea and you love a good Sangria, this recipe is guaranteed to be your new favorite end-of-summer treat!
Whether you’re taking a break from life (and the spouse and the kids) or having a party with friends and family, having a Sweet Tea Spritzer is the perfect way to relax and enjoy life. I like to pair this with a pasta salad and cookies for wedding showers – I make a kid-friendly version and this adult version – so everyone can enjoy a Sweet Tea Spritzer with some mint in their glass!
One of my favorite things is to drink iced tea out of fancy glasses with a cute straw and this recipe is perfect for that. You’re kicking it up a notch with the wine and you will feel like you’re drinking a fancy drink out with friends!
Take a good sweet tea – I use Tradewinds Tea Sweet Tea because it comes already brewed in a great big jug. Pour approx. 6 cups of tea into a big pitcher or jug. My glass pitcher is my favorite to mix punch in for parties!
Add in your white wine to taste (I used a full bottle, but you can use as little or as much as you’d like!)
Add fresh raspberries and freshly cut peaches to the pitcher and add some to the table for guests to add to their own glasses. Cut up some mint to add to the glass and you’re good to go with your own Sweet Tea Spritzers. What more could a girl ask for?
Sweet Tea Spritzer
6 cups Tradewinds Sweet Tea
1 bottle white wine, chilled
1 1/2 cups raspberries
1 1/2 cups peaches
mint to garnish
Pour 6 cups of Sweet Tea into a large pitcher. Add one bottle of chilled white wine. Stir to mix. Add 3/4 cup of raspberries to the pitcher and 3/4 cup of sliced peaches. Stir gently and chill in fridge 2 hours. Place fresh peaches and raspberries in your glass and pour the sweet tea spritzer into the glass. Add a few ice cubes and mint to garnish!
I buy Tradewinds Tea at my neighborhood Safeway, and you can buy it at your local store as well.
